Globalsat, one of the leading providers of integrated technology and green energy solutions and a distributor of technology products in Greece, with a leading presence in the most dynamic sectors of the Greek market, organized, in collaboration with the Corinth Chamber, an event for the Green Transition of Businesses, which took place on Wednesday, January 15 at the Chamber’s premises.
The event, which is part of Globalsat’s initiative to inform and educate businesses across Greece about the opportunities currently available for their digital and energy transformation, attracted the interest of businesses operating in the wider area, as well as institutional bodies from Corinth.
Dimitris Kapellos, Head of R&D Innovations of Globalsat and George Kavvouras, Chief Sustainability Officer of Globalsat, presented the company’s integrated and innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable development of businesses. Among these, they highlighted Globalsat platform – for Corporate Sustainability Management – from sensors and accounts to KPIs and ESG reporting, an innovative tool for managing ESG data, specifically designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. Additionally, they showcased solutions for e-mobility, self-production & self-consumption, and green solutions equipment. Furthermore, Globalsat SaaS (Solution as a Service) solution was presented, which enables businesses to reduce their operational costs by utilizing advanced technological solutions.
The representatives of Globalsat emphasized the importance of technological innovation in adopting sustainable practices, as well as compliance with European ESG standards and the relevant Greek legislation on climate change. At the same time, they highlighted practices and solutions tailored to the business sectors in Corinth, such as hotels, wineries, olive oil mills and smart agriculture, offering specific proposals for energy efficiency and the integration of green strategies.
The event, which was coordinated by Mrs. Katerina Reppa-Zestos, was honored by the presence of Mr. Panagiotis Louziotis, President of the Corinth Chamber and Mr. Nikos Stavrelis, Mayor of Corinth, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between local bodies and businesses to strengthen the local economy and transition to a more sustainable future. The event was attended by a large number of executives and entrepreneurs from various sectors, who participated in a dynamic dialogue on green development and the importance of digital transformation in business strategy. The focus was on the connection between technological progress and environmental responsibility, elements that are central to Globalsat’s strategy.
