In the next few weeks, the first Carrefour store in Attica will start operating.
Following the first phase of the expansion of Carrefour’s network, when it inaugurated the new era of its presence in Greece with the opening of the first 5 stores in Zakynthos Island and Halkidiki, Carrefour have started the operation of 6 new stores, now completing the 11 stores out of 25 nationwide.
The new Carrefour stores were created in Thassos – 2 Carrefour Express and Carrefour Market type of stores – in Thessaloniki, where the first Carrefour Express store have started operating, in Kamari and Oia in Santorini Island with Carrefour Express and Carrefour Market type of stores respectively and in Kos Island, where it was inaugurated the first Carrefour Market store on the island.
Moreover, the first Carrefour store will start operating in Piraeus, Attica in the next few weeks, marking the expansion of the Carrefour network in the urban centers.
The company’s goal is to create an extensive network of stores throughout Greece, which will include 25 Carrefour Market and Carrefour Express stores, properly adapted to the conditions of each local market.
Carrefour’s store network is developed by Retail and more, a subsidiary of Teleunicom-Globalsat Group Companies, which undertook, after a relevant agreement with the French company, the return of Carrefour stores in the Greek market.
